Biodynamic Estate Coffee Direct from our Farm

Nardo organic coffee is grown on our farm in the mountainous Chapada Diamantina region of north-east Brasil, where we follow the purest organic and biodynamic farming standards. The conservation of biodiversity in our region, along with sustainable practices, forms the basis of all our production principles.

As a farmer-led initiative, Nardo organic coffee is brought to the European consumer through Direct Trade, allowing our farming community to have direct ownership of the distribution of our quality product.  This form of trade also creates a communication link between the consumer and the producer allowing both parties to better understand the issues involved at every stage of the process; from the farming of the beans to the final consumption of a cup of coffee by a European consumer.  

Direct Trade is the fairest form of trade as it allows the producers to move up the value chain.
